Tarot Decans & Planetary places

THE JUNE SOLSTICE, ECLIPSE & NODES OF FATE  JUNE 21, 2020

This post shows how the current planetary placements are located in various Decans. Astrological Decans are the 10 degree sections of each of the Zodiacal (30 degree) Signs. These are interpreted by definitions of the Tarot Minor cards (2 – 10). Use your Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck to lay out the present positions of the planets onto a zodiacal wheel and ‘read’ the AstroWeather forecast!

These are the current correlations for this Historic Solstice and Eclipse 0* Cancer starting point from Sunday’s Annular “Ring of Fire” Solar Eclipse. This is our new beginning;

“War is over, if you want it” reminds us that the war of daily struggle for survival can be upgraded now. The work of equality and JUSTICE is in the zeitgeist and will, eventually, prevail.

MOON & SUN @ 5 WATER – The zero point of Cancer reflects the 5 of Cups Tarot. This is a major reset point from which the next cycle of 26,000 years begins. This huge turning point is shown as one with many regrets, the image of a person pining for 3 of their 5 cups, that are spilled on the ground. While shown on the opposite shore of their home, we see a bridge to cross before safe space is found. Collectively, we mourn for the way things are, which is not congruent with American ‘ideals’. There is a home for all, but we must cross that bridge, together.

When we awaken to the reality of the present moment, we may be depressed that the state of JUSTICE is still not resolved, and yes, much effort is still needed to move into a peaceful state. Seclusion, delays and setbacks are part of our current situation, but it gives us time to do inner work of discovering what it is we really want to accomplish, and HOW we want to go about creating an equitable world for ALL. We may feel tired, sad or troubled with anxiety, but we can learn valuable lessons from this introspective time. Our regrets paint the way toward a future with fewer regrets, if we are courageous enough to travel that path! Good luck is brought to those repairing and replacing damaged ways of living. So onward, with momentum!

NORTH NODE – @ 8 AIR the Dragon’s Head points the way toward our goals. In this case, it has recently moved into the 0* degree point of Gemini, which is reflected in the 8 of AIR Tarot card. The 8 of Air signifies a period of releasing the blindfolds that keep us from seeing the TRUTH. When we are surrounded by many ideas, signified by 8 swords forming a barrier around a blindfolded one, the truth may be hard to discern. Our mission, should we decide to accept it, and I hope you will, is to step out of our slumber, cut the ties that bind us to the old ways of living, and tear off our blindfolds, so that we can awaken to a new day dawning!

VENUS @ 8 AIR- The alchemy of truthfulness will begin the process of healing. The purity of Venus cycles starting here is seen in the movement of her five pointed cycle and the magical tune of hummingbirds’ flitting wings tells us to ‘fine tune our ears’ to hidden messages that may come through our subconscious mind. Don’t be afraid to hear new ideas. You must not always believe everything you think! Give yourself time to adjust to new realities and strive toward the heights.

MERCURY @ 3 WATER; indicates a period of joyfulness, bound via the camaraderie of hard times survived. The dilemma we faced has had much quicker results than we had even hoped for, and many changes have been made, for the improvement of society. Keep up the good fight. Walk peacefully & proud! Mercury will soon move from this spot, and regain it’s commonly bumpy road, so cherish synergy now. The power of peaceful, collective voices will continue to sound amidst the background of cacophony for at least 6 months. Carry on.

MARS @ 4 FIRE – shows us that we are in a place of slowing passions. It is time to wait on wisdom to guide us. Take this time to rest and regroup, process recent events and commit to future action. Hold off making judgements, sleep on important decisions and consider all of your many options at this time. Keep your fire of passion alive with embers that will flame the new causes that will come; Justice. Peace. Renewal.

JUPITER & PLUTO in the last decan of Capricorn, and SATURN Rx headed back to join them, indicates the 4 of Earth, another period of slowdown regarding financial concerns. Unexpected business transactions may bring about sales of unforeseen items, possibly bankruptcy of brick and mortar operations, cancelled or postponed travel, and trying to create “safe” places to invest. Forming new ways to exchange energetic transactions, such as bartering, may become more common. Surprising disclosures come to light by long-held traditional forms crumbling under revealed truths. Facing death and creating new directions regarding business process’. The re-birthing process has begun. BREATHE! and PUSH. We can’t avoid the inevitable outcome. Do your best to visualize a new Earth, a new way of living.

URANUS @ 5 EARTH – brings challenges and fluctuations in the physical realm. A 5 card reminds us to take stock of our resources and hold faith throughout change. Materially poor or ill people find themselves navigating the sudden dire straits as a crisis unfolds. Their hope is to find sanctuary in religious shelters or charitable foundations. So give timely aid to those now, who would otherwise fall through the social ‘safety net’. We are all one human family. We each deserve freedom from fear. Love one another. Strive to DO GOOD.

SOUTH NODE @ 8 FIRE – indicates the place where we, as a collective, are coming from. The positive change of minds, engendered by the heart, propel us from a place where we desire a speedy change~ to take deliberate steps toward a sustainable, deeper and lasting philosophy. People are scrambling to find new ways to eek out income because usual ways of managing income are not working. All around, there are opportunities to connect with networks that may foster a sense of community through service. Things seem unsettled now, but are heading toward eventual success. Be patient. Keep the faith. When we work together, we all win.~

Homeschooling is not School at Home!

We Homeschooled for 8 years. It was a wonderful family experience that I hope many families, will try to implement, now that they’ve had a sampling of mandatory school-at-home due to the Corona19 virus pandemic stay-at-home orders.

TIP #1: HOMESCHOOLING IS NOT SCHOOL AT HOME

Our goal of ‘Homeschooling’ was to teach our children HOW TO LEARN~ How to embody virtues, and to live full, enriched lives. Homeschooling became a way of life that empowered our children to employ their curiosity, perseverance and knowledge toward a self-directed definition of personal success.

LEARNING STYLES

There are various methods of encouraging your kids to learn away from a school environment. The premise of ‘Multiple Intelligences’ by Howard Gardner is that each person has a mix of ways in which various personalities naturally learn.  They are Linguistic, Logical-Mathematatic, Musical, Kinesthetic, Spatial, Interpersonal and Interpersonal and Naturalistic learning.

Matching the senses to learning styles of Visual/Spatial, Verbal/Auditory, Reading/Writing, Physical/Kinetic and Embodiment via play-acting. All senses should be engaged with learning so that information registers, is retained and can be recalled.

I used individualized teaching methods for each of my kids, because I had insight into each of their motivations, preferences, and native abilities. The added benefit of homeschooling is that you, as a parent, will know (or will learn) what strategies work best with each of your children.

UMBRELLA SCHOOLS & REGISTERING IN YOUR STATE/CITY EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT

Homeschooling is legal in all 50 US States but you must register your children at their local school district prior to each school year so they are not counted as truant. You must pick up their forms that list the state’s requirements and fill in an end-of-year report that the requirements were met. Alternatively, parents can inform the school district which ‘umbrella school’ you are registering with in lieu of giving these reports to the school district and give them to the umbrella school.

SCHOOL AT HOME: One popular choice of schooling is to use the materials packaged by your school district. They usually supply a computer and have teachers who grade students work and confer with parents. To me, this was way too stressful! This is why the great joke about current situation of parents and kids both being exasperated with Homeschooling exists today!! :O

Teachers work ‘in loco parentis’ which is Latin for “in place of parents”. This is the original concept that allows parents to work outside the home and the state to take responsibility for educating youth, however, it regiments creativity into one-size-fits-all boxes and, imho, creates lazy and bored students. When parents have the luxury of matching learning options to individual children, the results are magical! When there are no imposed age restrictions in place, older kids play with and assist younger ones and generations happily mix and learn from each other. This is the great FREEDOM inherent in learning at home; It is a lifestyle that liberates the mind & spirit!

UNSCHOOLING: It’s a fairly radical idea to entertain and is legal in all 50 US States (and territories). People learn all the time, if encouraged and given direction via a question. Some of our friends enrolled their children into an “Umbrella School” that took responsibility for organizing the learning opportunities that children participated in over the year and created documents from the year-end reports that parents turned in. This was the least stressful way that allowed children’s youthful inquisitiveness to direct the learning process. Eventually, all the kids learned to read, write, calculate maths, play instruments, present dramatic entertainment, raise money for charity and become well-adjusted, kind and respectful people. It seemed a bit disorganized for me, but worked wonders when the children were naturally inquisitive and parents were confident that their kids would work things out on their own, or ask for help.

CHILD-LED LEARNING: Another, rather ‘open’ model of Homeschooling, is child-led learning, that is outlined by the State requirements but is left open to parents to co-create with their children and is used mostly in primary grades. Curriculum and educational materials can be purchased whenever the student is ready for a new subject. This one-at-a-time subject method works well if parents are committed to homeschooling over a number of years but can leave gaps in material covered if the parents decided they couldn’t continue with the 1:1 face time. I found it more expensive and decided to write my own curriculum. (Not as hard as it sounds!)

DIY CURRICULUM: Our studies were based on Sequential History, specifically, the History of ‘Western Civilization’ and later ‘Non-Western Civilization’ that integrated science, math, inventions, literature, art, music, culture and civics into each time-period of History. Our education range was from preK-middle school and middle school-high school.

HOURS:

This is probably the biggest stumbling block for many people. They don’t believe they can afford to homeschool or have the skills. Juggling teaching hours with work, or work-at-home can be tricky. Parents can work from home or trade schedules teaching and working with a spouse. Older kids can be educated by a single parent if they are convinced that it’s in their own best interest to do well and be responsible for themselves. In the era of school shootings, unworkable IEPs, and bullying, it was our choice to keep our kids safe and learn from home.

We lived below our means and had a very tight budget. I taught most of the hours but had help in the evenings and weekends with math, science and music. Local vocational schools, bookstores, homeschool networks and outreach programs offered field trips and enrichment opportunities.

I believe anyone can teach. Supplement what you know with what you learn while researching your subject. You only need to stay a week ahead of the kids to be able to ask pertinent questions. Your life experience counts for a lot! It keeps you on your toes and you’ll be surprised at how much fun it is to learn alongside your kids. Look things up together. Enjoy the adventure!

In a few hours a day, I spent the months of July and August researching materials and making reading lists from our local library. I’d outline a topic, research and learn more about each epoch in history, pencil in major events, and create a ‘Teacher’s Guide’ of the required subjects into outline form. Then I’d ‘integrate’ that information into activities and supplemental reading lists. This took a few weeks of research and plotting onto Week at a Glance “Teacher Guide” notebook for each student. ~This was BEFORE the age of online resources. I think the prep time today could be greatly reduced. There may even be software available for teacher planning!

We would cover ‘book learning’ in the morning between 9am and noon. The kids would wash up and set table for lunch and clean up after. Then they’d read historic fiction for an hour or two after lunch while I prepared hands-on activities for the afternoon, including chores. Once a week, we’d take the afternoon off to meet with other homeschoolers for outdoor games and social time. There, parents would brainstorm ideas and discuss strategies while kids would play. We kept our own schedule for field-trips to museums and cultural events that we’d attend as a family or a small group. Evenings were spent doing projects that pertained to some aspect of the overall theme or family game nights and educational movies. As the kids grew, they became more responsible for reading selection and had more time for individual study with a weekly review of their projects.

WHAT WE STUDIED: History based Social Studies

The first year of in-home learning we studied 9 week segments entitled, Egypt, Greece and Rome. We studied  the geography, climate, history, food, lifestyles and literature of each of these cultures. We studied the indigenous flora, fauna, and foods of each of these regions. We learned about and either drew, built models or presented read-aloud papers on scientific discoveries, biographies and short stories. ~ie. The kids really enjoyed cooking favorite foods of Alexander the Great, wearing togas and building catapults with a group of homeschoolers. It was great to wake up with an enthusiastic curiosity of what each day would bring!~

We studied Non-Western Civilizations for a year, although information on Russia or China was limited. We focused on the countries within Africa, India, the Middle and Far East in the same way that we did European History. We studied famous leaders and people of influence, ate more interesting foods and spent time listening to indigenous music, dress and customs, writing papers and doing creative presentations.

HOMESCHOOLING CAN BE TRAVEL

We were very lucky to be able take 3 months traveling the US in an RV while we studied US History, while my husband took a university lecture tour. That time we spent visiting State and National Parks and 32 State capitols. Speaking to locals and eating regional food, studying the State birds, trees and State historic sites topped our educational highlights. It took years to pay off that bill, but it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. (We didn’t take other out of state vacations during our homeschool days.) TRAVEL IS A GREAT EYE OPENER & EDUCATION!

HOMESCHOOL TIPS & SECRETS

~The secret for successful HOMESCHOOLING is to have fun with it! Ask questions and don’t be afraid to question authorities. Dig into author’s perspectives and world paradigms. Discover for yourselves what is important for your children to learn. Encourage growth and changing of interpretations as your kids mature. Require honesty and responsibility.

To avoid boredom, I presented material that was at least 2-3 grades higher level than the public school used, with moderate expectations. More often than not, my kids rose to the level of the material and went off in their own directions of SELF EDUCATING. You see, when kids figure out HOW TO LEARN, they are set up for life!

For example, in 6th grade, my son was reading Socrates, Plato and Aristotle…because he was curious about philosophy and began teaching himself Trigonometry two years later. When there are no set boundaries placed on learning, anyone can become a life-long learner and exceed expectations!

RESOURCES

Books like ‘The Well Educated Child’ give material lists to follow using ‘Great Books’ and Children’s Literature. I used some of their material and crafted it to suit my children’s learning styles. I also incorporated Catholic school curriculum as it seemed the most rigorous material, and off-set it’s doctrine based rhetoric with US History books by two other publishers. We would read these three accounts of the same material and hold discussions as to the viewpoint of the authors. The fact that “History is written by the Winners” was made obvious, and we were able to understand a more inclusive perspective of what actually may have happened. This was our version of ‘debate’ class.

Used Book Sales are great places to discover well-loved ‘hand-me-down’ texts like Saxon math, Rosetta Stone language sets, and educational games. Local homeschool groups hold one or two sales every year so these purchases are actually more like ‘rentals’ of material. This makes it affordable.

Book Fairs– I especially liked the DK trunk shows, where they sold books and family games. These were held on an irregular basis, so I would stock up on material I felt was going to be useful. Many of these books I still have and refer to on occasion.

A BASIC READING LIST FOR EDUCATORS:

‘Multiple Intelligences’ by Howard Gardner.

‘The Well-Trained Mind’ by Jessie Wise & Susan Wise Bauer (many educational books/series)

The Great Books – world class literature and curriculum

‘A Timeline of World History’ by E.L. Mellersh (Excellent resource to understand History)

Reference; Books like ‘London; A Cultural History’ by Richard Tames.

Historic Fiction; ‘Sarum’ by Edward Rutherford, a novel of London through eras.

‘From Sea To Shining Sea’ series by James Alexander Thom – US History

DK books for children – wonderfully illustrated themed books on sciences and the arts

…and SO many more! Once you get started, let your imagination run wild~

Best wishes on this new lifestyle adventure!

~K

HOME SCHOOLING made Easy!

The Corona virus pandemic has wreaked havoc on American families in many ways, including education of children. This may not be the tragedy that many parents see it as. Personally, I think it may be an eye-opener to what teachers deal with everyday and may even be a better setup to have kids at home than what is currently being prescribed by new administration of the Education department, but I digress.

I recently read a post from a friend of mine who is struggling with the amount of homework that’s being assigned to her/her son from her middle school’s 7 teachers. She is overwhelmed with the time it takes to watch videos, answer quiz questions, read, do homework for each class each day. It’s creating a ton of stress that is truly, not necessary!

I, myself, was tired of going to PTA meetings, many moons ago, and I was fed up trying to continue the ongoing struggle that was the IEP my older son had been given. I realized that the admonition to “Try harder to…be organized, i.e.” was not going to help him succeed at anything they had laid out for him. The education he received was definitely NOT serving him and the social pressure to conform was creating a very negative situation for us all.

We researched homeschooling and withdrew from the system and began a wonderful FAMILY adventure. We homeschooled our two sons for 8 years, very successfully, without the stress, competition and social labels that the public school system unwittingly creates.

Our family enjoyed and had a great appreciation for our kids’ childhood. Our sons graduated with Political Science and Chemical Engineering degrees and are now happy in creating the futures that suit their personalities. How did we do it?

Here are some TIPS to successful homeschooling:

    1. Teach your kids chores and life-skills so you have time to research how you will become a better teacher. Dishwashers can be loaded and unloaded, setting the table and cooking, doing laundry, yard work, auto maintenance and repairs around the house can be taught and passed down by eldest to younger kids too, leaving you time to read and power nap.

    2. Understand what each of your children need in order to learn. Read “How Children Learn” by John Holt, “Multiple Intelligences” by Howard Gardner and the like. “The Well-Trained Mind” by Susan Wise Bauer & Jessie Wise offers classic children’s literature as a basis of education.

    a. Then consider which learning style suits each of your kids. Provide time slots for each of your kids to have 1:1 time with you during the day and while getting them into bed. It teaches them self-worth, which is the most valuable lesson to learn in life.

    3. Read “The Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman and discover how your kid relates to you and what s/he needs from you. This also works wonders with spouses and significant others!

    4. Consider what subjects they are drawn to and provide various methods of learning to those interests. An interest-led student is going to have lots of motivation to learn that s/he can apply to other, required, subjects. Take your kids on field trips, museums, talk with neighbors, network with other home schoolers, church groups and interest based groups. Be creative in social distancing and continuing safe health precautions.

    5. Continue to offer opportunities to hands-on trials of subjects that aren’t interested in; local outlets like YMCA provide instruction in arts, crafts and sports. (They may have equipment swaps when kids outgrow their gear.) The Dumb Friends League has opportunities to learn how to care for animals. Historical museums teach about self-sustainability and old-time crafts that can be carried on today. Arbor Day activities provide a chance to learn about local trees and how the climate can be cared for. Children’s Day at the State Capitol will provide a demonstration of Democracy and encourage a voice for the young and voiceless.

    6. Take time to deprogram yourselves as a family from thinking that the mass-education model is the only one that works. We spent most of the first year, distressing our older son by allowing time for bird-watching and nature hikes. This allowed us all to appreciate the natural world without stress about ‘productivity’. It also allows us each to find a stillness and balance within that is the beginning point to living. In my experience, families that homeschooled had kids that were greatly more self-sufficient, self-motivated and comfortable in their own self-expression.

    7. Homeschooling is LEGAL in all 50 States! Learn the educational requirements for your state; the local school district office may also provide you with alternative systems. Check to see if there are any ‘Umbrella Schools’ that you can register under; they will provide you with more information and options, such as ‘Unschooling’ or ‘Pre-packaged curriculum’ that you can purchase or subscribe to. (The problem with the latter, however, is that is the baseline that many public schools are currently using following the pandemic that is causing so much overwhelm today.)

Most importantly, Here’s a Secret for CONFIDENT HOMESCHOOLING; You know your kids better than any teacher. You are already their guidance counselor and cheerleader. So, read up on Learning Styles*, watch for natural waking and productivity cycles that your children (as individuals) have, and tailor what you want your kids to know based on your values and what you intuit may skills and capabilities be most valuable to your individual children in the future.

    YOU CAN DO THIS!

**The Secret we discovered is to use an INTEGRATED APPROACH TO LEARNING!** When all the subjects are applied to the year-long ‘Theme”, learning becomes fun and natural. History was written in a continuous thread with repeating themes. Why not learn to learn from history in the way it was lived???

I’ll write more on the subject in following days… ~K

    Aleph – the silent letter

    #Hebrew #Spirituality #Kabbalah #Aleph #Language #PersonalGrowth #Peace #Creation

    #Words #ReformJudiasm #CoCreation #G-d #Creativity #DailySpiritualPractices

Did you know that the original letters of the English ‘Alpha-Bet’ come from the Hebrew letters “Aleph” and “Beth”? Each of the letters are considered sacred and have many meanings and numerical equivalents. This alphabet is the basis for many written languages and great care has been taken to keep the proper brush strokes that create the Hebrew letters exactly over these many centuries!

As more people learned to read and write, the sacred mysteries continued to be passed down orally from Master to Student privately. These students had to have been adult men, over 40, who were married property owners. These requirements maintained that the secrets remained safe and unaltered, by wise elders, in order to help generations understand the codes of creation, the function of society, spirituality, and each persons place in the world.

Think of it! This is a secret code, hidden in plain sight, and used daily without awareness by most people, actually as hidden entendres to those who can understand them! 😉 It is exciting to learn that these secrets can be easily applied to your life~ for more ease, understanding and eventually, to gain the wisdom to be able to create a life of your highest aspirations~

Because NOW the wisdom of the Kabbalah, the Hebrew mystery tradition that originated with the pre-Judiac people long ago, can be shared with everyone! Are you ready to learn more??

~Each of the 22 Hebrew letters have esoteric qualities embedded into them. I will explain some of the basic meanings that I use in my metaphysical work with you over the next few months. I will also share some ideas about how you can become more familiar with the power of these spoken letters. Here we go!~

ALEPH is the first of the Hebrew letters.

Aleph – the first, yet unspoken, Hebrew letter tells a story of the creation through the word.

Aleph, when pronounced slowly, consists of the intake of breath and it’s exhalation, ‘ah’.

The tongue touching the front teeth, becomes the second part of this letter, ‘el’.

And the breath exiting the mouth as the sound ‘f’ is created with the lips against the teeth.

    A           L          F

There is no need to add the vocal cords to this word. It symbolizes the exhalation of breath with an unspoken thought. This ‘ideation’ was the first step in the creation process.

The movement of AIR from the lungs to the center of the mouth, the roof of the mouth and the front of the mouth, demonstrates the process of sending an idea from within to the world without. This parallels the maxim, “As above, so below. As within, so without”.

Each time you speak, your Ideas, as sparks of thought, come from within your mind and will. When these thoughts are put into Good Orderly Direction, you are using your innate talent as a co-creator with G-d.

*Choose your thoughts and words carefully, because the vibration of the sound of words uttered, creates a frequency force upon the matrix of the web of life. What you think upon, you create, because as attention goes, so energy flows. Words act like boomerangs, they return to us wether we want them to or not!

*Consider this- What do you spend your time doing throughout the day? Hygiene, is taking care of the temple that is your body. Preparing food is similar maintenance of the vehicle you live in. Cleaning and maintaining your body, your home and your workplace are all basic upkeep that allows your body-mind-spirit SELF to function with greater ease. They are good practices. Being PRESENT in the current moment allows you to accomplish more with less effort.

*Do you walk mindfully throughout the day? As you grow older, it becomes more obvious that you need to pay more attention to your movements in the world. Walking can become a meditation that balances the right and left hemispheres in the brain.

*How do you spend your free time? Things you think about are what you worship. Some people worship football, others worship baking, and yet others their pets, their children, their spouse. The things you focus attention upon, are what you worship. What do you worship?

*Do you select entertainment to increase your wisdom and understanding of the world or to KILL TIME? Most tv shows are based in dictated “popular culture” and are based in violence and drama? Why? Because adrenaline sells.

Whatever you take into your psyche becomes part of your SELF. At my home we live by the maxim that ‘Violence is not entertainment!’. Of course, this limits what we watch and participate in, but it adds a sense of peace and calm as our home is an oasis from the frenetic energy of the outside world. There are lots of great shows on Science & the Arts, Music, Song, Dance and romantic comedies have no violence, you just have to be selective in finding them.

*The letter ALEPH, reminds us to engage in practices that bring joy, amusement and awe. AHHH, the sound of Aleph is a helpful way to remind yourself of what you are grateful for in your life. Gratitude adds a lot to the quality of life, so practice it often. Namaste’ ~K

    HERMETIC LAWS

12 UNIVERSAL LAWS – original Hermetic laws given by Hermes Thrice Blessed

    1. Law of Divine Oneness; We are all made of the same star stuff. We are One. The Cosmic Consciousness pervades all things, including each of us.

    2. Law of Vibration; Everything in the Universe moves, vibrates and travels in circular patterns. The same principles of vibration apply to our thoughts, feelings, desires and wills in the Etheric world. Each sound, thing and thought has its own vibrational frequency unique unto itself. All is made of Energy that vibrates at various frequencies; High vibrations attract love and goodness.

    3. Law of Action; Action is needed to Manifest in the material world. Therefore, we must engage thoughts, dreams, emotions and words that support acts of the highest good.

    4. Law of Correspondence; As Above, So Below; Laws of physics that explain our physical world; energy, light, vibration and motion, have their corresponding principles in the etheric realm. Everything in the skies is reflected upon the Earth. Your beliefs show up in your outer World. Thoughts become things.

    5. Law of Cause & Effect; Nothing happens outside of Universal Laws. Every action or reaction has an equal and opposite reaction. As we sow, so we reap.

    6. Law of Compensation; The applied Law of Cause & Effect brings us blessings or lack. All you give, you receive. (aka Karma)

    7. Law of Attraction; Our Thoughts, Feelings, Words and Actions attract what we Desire or Fear. We create the reality of our lives.

    8. Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy; We each have the power to change the condition of our lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; so each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying them for positive change. These changes in our Energy affects ourselves and those around us.

    9. Law of Relativity; Each of us receive tests of virtue for the purpose of strengthening our Souls. We should consider these challenges opportunities in order to solve them. This teaches us that we receive what we need to learn, grow and redeem old Karma.

    10. Law of Polarity; Everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. We can transform undesirable thoughts and feelings by concentrating on the opposite pole. When we master this skill our dynamic balance can be restored.

    11. Law of Rhythm; Everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms establish cycles, stages of development, patterns and seasons. To master this energy we can learn to stay centered and not get too attached to transitory thoughts or emotions.

    12. Law of Gender (Balance); Yin and Yang energy is needed for Creation of all things and is in all things. To become a Master and co-creator with God one must balance these energies within themselves. aHo!

    5 of EARTH – Taurus Decan i – Bison

    5 of EARTH – Taurus Decan i – April 20 – 30, 2019  BISON GRAZING

THEME: Resiliency, Change of Resources, Profit/Loss, Forfiet, Spending, Building.

KEY WORDS: Growth after Loss, Rebuilding, Planting seeds for the Future, Green, Earth, New Deals, Consideration, Insurance, Civilizing principles, Agriculture, Science, Organic soil, Legacies, Environment, Concern vs Faith in Providence.

ASTROLOGICAL SYMBOLS:This Decan the Sun moves into the sign of Taurus and Easter is celebrated. Green new shoots are pushing up from the soil with the promise of renewed color, scent and sensual pleasures to come! Venus rules the sign of Taurus and with it, beauty, art and comfort but during this Decan she ingresses into the sign of Aries which is concerned with personal, individual needs rather than the collective.

We are invited to participate in our own evolution, as we work with the cycles of Mother Earth and plan the careful use of her abundant resources. The “American Dream” has long been to work hard and create a legacy for your offspring to enjoy. The reality is that many times gold seekers go bust and locusts eat the first planting of your crop, hailstorms damage the second and drought plagues the third. Mercury rules this Decan of Taurus inviting us to brainstorm ideas that will insure our safety and survival by careful use of natural resources. Building must be weighed against preserving wetlands and sanctuaries so that the balance of nature remains.

IMAGINE:a Bison standing in a locust-infested field, a gull on his hump. The plow lies rusting where once farmers busted the sod and tilled soil for crops. The wild reclaims the prairie and the bison remains grazing, unconcerned for the habits of humanity, with faith in providence that all will be well.

Monday, April 22, the Sun conjuncts Uranus as 2* of Taurus and we celebrate Earth Day. Great imagination must be put to work for sustainable agriculture, solar and renewable energy and collective action for the common good. It’s a great day for inspirations!

Wednesday, April 24 Pluto turns retrograde, unleashing sudden structural changes and turnabouts. Great changes are slated, but the process for change must be analyzed and prepared for. Be prepared for some kind of grinding halt wherever Pluto is found in your natal chart until early October.

The 26thwe see a 4thquarter moon at 6* Aquarius allowing us to purge and release all that does not serve us, or the greater good. Spring-cleaning can get underway full tilt!

Saturday, April 27thMars squares Neptune bringing mutable energy of water and air to plans. Indecision may rule supreme while this mushy push-pull activates the weekend. Should it stay or go? Hold it to your heart and listen for the answer.

Monday, April 29thSaturn turns retrograde, so rules and regulations will be reconsidered through mid-September. #Namaste ~K

    2 of FIRE – Aries Decan i

SPRING EQUINOX – MARS RULES ARIES I – 2 of FIRE

March 20, 2019 marks the start of a new Solar year as the day and night become equal in length. This year our Equinox is marked by a Super Full Moon and input by Uranus at 0* Taurus. The Super Full Moon is the 4thand last of the Full Moons that have all been as close as the Moon gets to Earth, hence, the word Super. It will look Super sized, especially when it is rising as the Sun sets this Wednesday. Try to find a ridge top or hill where you have an unrestricted view of both the Sun to the West and the Moon to the East. It is a really special feeling to hold each of them in your upraised palms.

TAROT: 2 of Fire Tarot indicates the beginning of cooperative enterprises, I indicate this by two Bees…To bee or not to bee, is the question we must ask ourselves at this Starting line; what is it that we would most like to bee come this year?

ASTROLOGY: The First Decan of Aries this year sees the Moon at the zero point of Libra, indicating the ‘others’ or the collective of humanity, whereas the Sun, Ego, is at the zero Aries point, indicating the Self. There will be a choice to make about whom you wish to associate with, and to whom you focus your attention upon. Be sure to include plenty of self-care as well, so that you don’t drain your psychic reserves, now that Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces. You could be tempted to go overboard serving others.

Uranus is 150* degrees away from the Moon, sending a rather obsessive chaotic energy toward the masses of people on Earth. What will they be rising up about? With the tides super high it puts strain on Earth’s plate techtonics, so there may be some Earth moving going on.

This Decan the S node will conjunct both Pluto and Saturn, so there will be a bit of revisiting the past, especially about things that need to be transformed and new rules that must be laid out. This is so that the North node in Cancer can serve the higher good of all.

Look for interesting happenings around March 24 – 26th. You may not believe your eyes.

    Namaste’ ~K

    Chiron enters Pisces Decan i

8 of WATER  SATURN in PISCES  Planets at 0 -10* PISCES

    Feb 19 – 28, 2019 9 KEYS TAROT BEAVER AND NET

    Keywords for this first Decan in Pisces; #Emotional #Instinct #Creativity #Reminisce #Sorrow #Remembrances #Coping #Skills #Legacies #Changes #Intuition #Intellect #Integration #Growth

Decan Theme; Healing old psychological and physical wounds through forgiveness and releasing ties to the past, which are hurtful. It’s time to learn new skills and develop your talents. Remember our past and know that we are stronger together.

    Planets and Transits;

The Sun enters Pisces on February 18th, which stirs our vital energy toward creativity, being flexible and compassionate. This sets up a period of emotional sensitivity.

The big news is that CHIRON enters the sign of ARIES, on Feb 18, 2019, EST which will affect wounds around our personal and collective IDENTITY as well as give the collective a new way to perceive how things are done. Chiron will be in Aries for about 8 years indicating the new ways of thinking and perceiving that are on their way.

Chironis a Centaur, half human and half horse, so he was part deity and part wild. He depicts our self-wounding and was revered as a great teacher of humanities. He was fathered by Zeus, as a horse, and born of a nymph, who wounded him by rejecting her half horse offspring. Chiron was adopted by Apollo, who taught him about medicine, music, philosophy, and prophecy. His lesson to us is about civilizing our wildness yet remaining powerful in order to share our hard-won wisdom with others.

Chiron went on to mentor sons of Greek Kings, including Jason of the Argo voyage, Asclepius, father of healing and medicine, Achilles and Hercules, famous warrior heroes who accomplished miraculous feats.

It’s interesting how Chi and Rho are also the symbols the Greeks used to indicate the name of Christ. You may have seen the symbol of the intertwined P and X on some churches. Christ and Chiron are the Archetypal wounded healers.

Saturn rules this Decan giving a somber approach to how we work collectively. We need to begin work that will pay off over time by dedicating ourselves to community works. As beavers tirelessly build their lodges, by placing one stick upon the other to construct a shelter against the elements, so we too, must decide how to build for the future. It’s a good time to begin a healthier lifestyle and dietary plan, lay plans for retirement or your legacy and deciding which trees you will plant this Spring.

We will have a Super Full Moon, because the Moon is at its closest to the Earth this year at 0* Virgo on February 19th. The Sun conjuncts Regulus, fixed star of Kings, during this Full Moon. Some may have delusions of grandeur that startle us into action now. If you wish to be noticed, start a business or perform on a reality show, now’s the time to do it.

Venus continues her negotiations with Saturn, on Monday the 18th, and then with Pluto on Saturday, the 23rd. She softens the harshness usually engendered by these, the elder philosopher and the tyrannical bulldozer driver. A change will come but it may be wearing velvet gloves.

General forecast; This Decan looks to be rather somber, with time for introspection and intimate conversations between friends and family. Be sure to tell your loved ones what they mean to you and make time to get together as often as you can. Share your life stories around the fire and pass on your wisdom to the young. Reminisce while listening to the music of your youth. The last time these planets were in similar configurations was 1968. Remember that? Blessings ~K

9 Keys Tarot – Killdeer – Aquarius iii

DECAN iii AQUARIUS, 7 of AIR, DISTRACTION, Feb 9 – Feb 18
    Keywords for this third decan in Capricorn: #Distraction #Scattered #Deception #Vascilation #Trickery #Restoration #Recreation #Growth #Selection #Protection #Valentine #Chocolate #Endorphins
Decan Theme; Protection. You may feel ‘called’ to distract someone or something that challenges or endangers your ‘nest egg’ by doing a fancy dance that leads their interest away from your vulnerabilities like a parent Killdeer would do to protect its egg-filled nest. Establish healthy boundaries around the places you are feeling a bit exposed about now; back up your pc, set your security levels up a notch, establish a ‘do not disturb’ period in your day to recharge??

Planets and Transits in the Middle Decan from 21* – 30* Aquarius, Moon ruled. Check your natal chart for the placement of the Moon (signs Aries thru Leo) this Decan as well as planets that lie between 21* to 30* Aquarius and Leo and 21* -30* Taurus and Scorpio for spots of impact and activity.

This Decan begins with Mars squaring the North Node of the Moon on Saturday, February 9, 2019, signaling a push toward where we ‘ought’ to be heading. Listen to your intuition and see if you can pick up on newsworthy items that will hint at a new direction. Go a bit out of your comfort zone to meet up with new people!

Sunday, February 10 sees Mercury, the planet of communication and wit move into Pisces for an extended stay of 2 months (due to its retrograde beginning March 5). The director of Communications in the watery realms of mutable, sacrificial Pisces tends toward lots of compromises and back-peddling in negotiations. Oi vey!

Meanwhile, Venus is starting to ramp up her debate skills as confrontations with the outer planets begin Sunday, February 17th when the planet of desire is squelched as she moves to connect with Saturn, the old man of time and destiny. It feels like a young woman vs old man debate will be featured, possibly on Monday the 18th, as Mercury comes to its halfway point of 18* Pisces and we have two other starry body shifts that day; Chiron enters Aries, bringing our collective wounding to mind, and the asteroid Athena, women’s empowerment, turning backward. We may be looking back on the suffragette movement and the Equal Rights Amendment.

The Sun enters Pisces the evening of President’s Day, February 18th which stirs our vital energy toward creativity, being flexible and compassionate. This sets up a period of emotional sensitivity and a bit more tact than we’ve seen recently.

But the BIG NEWS this Decan is the meeting of Mars with chaos maker Uranus February 13 – 15. It looks like cupids arrow this year may actually be a TASER! Ouch. Possibilities for fireworks, violence, and volatility will bring us ‘truth bombs’. Uncomfortable realizations must be faced this week of St Valentine, the martyred saint who died for marrying persecuted lovers.

General forecast; Be forewarned, forearmed and ready to be forgiving! Put an extra effort into being shielded from the slings and arrows of outrageous dialogue and give everyone a generous helping of the ‘benefit of the doubt’ this Decan.
Have a bar of chocolate, (or five) midweek as you determine to not let the clowns get you down! #Endorphins 🙂

    DECAN 2 AQUARIUS – HUMMINGBIRD – 6 OF AIR

The 9Keys Tarot features a flurry of Hummingbirds buzzing around a nectar filled potion bottle feeder…

    HUMMINGBIRD – 6 of AIR – ALCHEMY – Jan 30 – Feb 8

    Keywords for this second decan in Capricorn: #Curiosity #Magic #Change #Obsession #Inspiration #Investigation #Alchemy #Journey #Insight #Mercury #Freedom #Flight #STAR #StarQuality #Recognition #Awards #Cazimi #Blessings #Aquarius #Air

    Planets and Transits in the second Decan from 11*- 20* Aquarius;

Dates of Import: Jan 1 Mars squares Pluto –Images of Warlords, Activists, and Judges meeting up to decide hard truths under this energy. Perhaps conversations go deeper than usual now? What is the motivation behind the decision? Are precedents being set? Why? Discussions can easily turn sour as debate becomes uncivil. Mercury in Aquarius wants the freedom to fly in the direction of one’s choosing. As an aside, the Manafort Trial will be underway in the US, so watch as planetary disruptors sneak their way into the spotlight.

Venus enters Capricorn – On Sunday, Jan  3 Mars aligns with Eris, asteroid/goddess of discord, as Venus enters the sign of Capricorn. No faint, hothouse flower here, she comes in ‘Warrior mode’ to right wrongs of injustice all month long. Let’s hope her shields hold.

New Moon Jan 4 at 15* Aquarius – Monday, Jan 4 we see the critical point of Aquarius activated with a New Moon! This is the best time to set intentions for change, freedom and BIG DREAMS! Give voice to whatever lights your ‘inner fire’ and send your energy out into the world to make it happen! Dare to be the STAR of your own Life! ~Unusual ideas, rebellion, freedom, eccentricity reigns now like a Mardi Gras King. Look for new friends who embrace the ‘unusual’, like Astrology, and you will be delighted!

The Tarot of 9 Keys 6 of Air card features a dozen Hummingbirds feeding on sweet potions and nectars of ambrosia. This is the time to claim your Spiritual birthright and reclaim your native powers of discernment, efficacy, tact, and diplomacy so that you can slide right up to the podium for recognition as a STAR while the chaos rages around you. Picture the chaos of an Academy Award announcement while a fight breaks out in the crowd. You will still walk up to the podium to claim the reward you’ve earned, but your “Thank you speech” may not be heard. Think of a hobbit diving under the legs of a strongman as he is pursued…make your well-timed getaway, or realize the WISHES you’ve been desiring for a long time. This is the energy of the Hummingbird. The flurry of brightly colored wings will deflect negativity from you as you deftly claim your prize.

Astrological changes this decan: Mercury rules this decan that starts out with the Moon in Sagittarius, bringing a philosophical bent to the day, which is followed by the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune. “Making dreams real” can be the motto of this year’s decan. Mercury will be in Aquarius so thoughts have a ring of the unusual, and are specially charged due to Mercury’s Cazimi position to the Sun on Jan 29. Mercury acts as a Trickster as he runs up to steal the Sun’s glory, he is hidden for a moment, but then appears on the other side of the Sun, hands full of blessings, and brings us gifts of genius proportion. Prometheus would be proud to call Mercury his son. New inspirations that you’ve received lately should be followed up on NOW! Odds are in your favor for Success!! But act quickly to implement your plan as challenges are on the horizon.

When I say ‘Now’ I mean immediately as Venus enters February in Sagittarius conjunct to the major benefic, Jupiter, but leaves this lap of luxury for the stone-cold bench of Capricorn, which is in turmoil, in case you haven’t noticed. The structures that have supported us are crumbling, and Venus, the planet of desire and comfort will be doing ‘Super-Woman’ work all month. Be prepared to have freshly ironed capes in reserve.

Overall Message: Strike while the iron is HOT! Take and make opportunities to socialize, make strategic plans to achieve your goals and enjoy the relative quiet this decan brings. Look for little things to brighten your day. Pay attention to intuitive hints and keep them in your pocket.
