Shadow work Oct 5-Nov 15, 2018

The Shadow is the ‘unclaimed’ part of our psyche that is alert and aware 24/7 because it resides in our Subconscious Mind. As children, we are programmed into our view of the World; it’s language, customs and our place in it. As adults, we can reflect on these programs and become “Aware” of them.

If you start to feel like a victim of your programs, stuck in a rut, without possibilities, I want to tell you that you can change ANYTHING, at ANY TIME!

If you’re interested in doing Shadow work, investigating this phenomenon via inward reflections, let me know.  Send me your Email request at KalinArtAndSpirit@gmail.com and I’ll send you the password. (Passwords keep out bots)

Thanks!

The Re-enchantment of everyday life~

WHAT DO WOMEN NEED?

Feminine Re-enchantment; Our high hopes and ambitions have been squelched, our income and housework chore inequality continues. We must embrace our wildness! Here are some ideas for these areas of life that we face:

Sex; sexual harassment, kids, responsibility for birth control and family management; kids’ autism and special needs, time management, chore patrol.

Self: emotional growth, empowerment of self, understanding the dynamics of others via Enneagram personality system. * Integrated Spiritual Practices

Responsibilities; Child and parental day care, home and pet care. Bills and manage resources promptly with adaptability, flexibility and with determined persistence. Ride that wave.

Pride; Establish a daily esteem routine hygiene. Organize your easy-care, durable, stylish clothes, Makeup, Hair, and accessories so they’re ready to go.

Power; Emotional daily routines. Say no firmly to set boundaries. Seek pleasure and joy. Empower your body with supplements, healthy habits, and moderate exercise. Work out emotional blocks with a yoga routine.

Passion; Establish Private daily routines where you create time to explore, discover, create, be quiet, and recharge. Have compassion for yourself.

Enneagram; helps you understand others behaviors, kids esp, and plan how to manage relationships; husband, parents, kids individually, pta moms, co-workers. Gather friends who feed your soul only.

Astrology annual cycles; plug into nature to reboot; walk in woods, falling leaves, snow time alone, spring flings, summer staycations. Watch the moon cycles, meteorites, sun cycles and important conjunctions from local astrologer. Affects all areas of life.

Time management; calendar, goal planning, daily log jam, weekly goals, monthly goals, delegating chores, lighten up on quality and quantity of cleanliness. Plan me time and we time. Hold family meetings where all are heard and weigh in according to age.

HEALTH; Pay attention to your hormonal balance, eat vegan/vegetarian or clean foods, get fewer shots, take supplements as a way to add to your quality of life. Check out your doctor/health plan options for alternative care. Follow up on routine visits.

Self Care; Boundaries, Deciding what must be, can be and may be. Put yourself first! To moderate what enters your emotional body is self-care. VIP. Select news and views, exercise your heart power and voice as you can. Join a women’s support group. Commit to helping others as you hear new strategies to help yourself.

Imagination breaks; Tarot cards, doodling, baking, cooking new menus, traveling to new places nearby and planning vacations. Create something that fills a void in others’ lives. Do charity work where you can.

MEN

Talk openly to others about deep matters.

Be vulnerable.

Touch others more, in loving, appropriate ways.

Accomplish something that you value each day.

Continue to learn thru life.

Cancer Decan III

Wednesday, July 12, 2017, marks the movement of the Sun into the third Decan (10 day segment) of the Astrological Sign of Cancer. The image for this time period, taken from Austin Coppock’s “36 Faces”, is ‘The Overflowing Cup’ and the Tarot Card associated with it is the 4 of Cups/Water.

In my upcoming Tarot deck, the “9 Key Tarot”, the 4 of Water is an image of an Ibis and it’s reflection, in the murky twilight sky. This waterbird pauses before his last catch of the day, to observe the natural cycle of sun moving into evening. Traditionally, the symbol of an overflowing cup is ‘Luxury’ – as the saying, “My cup overfloweth.”

It’s a good time to stop and make declarations of your gratitude for your sense of abundance, especially around those things which fill the well of your soul. But it also can be a time of overwhelm, where so many things are calling out for your attention that you just want it to stop!

The 4 of Water/Cups is where we come to an impasse on our uphill climb to the peak, toward the 10 of each suit. Pausing to reflect on the dog days of Summer is what this week is about.

What are the goals you have set forth for this Summer season? Have you been to a reunion or spent time enjoying the water and the warmth of the sun with your family? Have you decided to take better care of your health and imbibe in organic greens and cold watermelon?

I’m in the midst of clearing out dross from my office…this includes purging myself of papers stored from long, long ago, sorting and reorganizing what is still useful and can be of immediate use. It’s the way my organizing specialist, Lisa Sulgit, of “isimplify”, has had me look at my possessions; “Either love it, use it, or pass it along so someone else can use it.”

Those things that have outworn their value, or are no longer necessary for me to refer to while writing or creating art will be donated, recycled or trashed. Doing this kind of physical purging really helps me clear my head and I find new ideas springing up already! I plan to have ‘stations’ in different parts of the room so that I can attend to the myriad of interests I have with more FOCUS on each one.

This kind of purging really helps! Try it, now that the Decan of Cancer 3 energy moves you to PAUSE & REFLECT. Namaste’
