2021 YEAR OF THE METAL OX

2021 YEAR OF THE METAL OX

The Full Moon at 9* Leo Thursday January 28 ushers in the year of the Metal Ox. This is a Yin, or receptive year, where we should be looking for opportunities to build upon. There will be changes, however they may not be ostentatious, rather foundational, so “Keep your eyes on the prize and Carry on” would be a good motto for this year. (It looks like Covid eradication may not come for many parts of the world until early 2023.)

The Ox is the epitome of strength, patience, reserve, honesty and humility. People born in the years 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009 and 2021 are generally dutiful, logical, calm, hard working, positive and fiscally conservative. They will build wealth over time if given the chance.

Rarely roused to anger, be sure not to take advantage of this gentle giant…as it’s wrath can be fiercely destructive if pushed too far, or allowed into china shops! Use this year as a reminder to work steadily toward your goals every day. Oxen generally face obstacles early on to avoid issues growing too large to create complete failure.

The ox can be stubborn or steadfast, depending on the way you interpret its actions.

Lucky numbers 1 & 4  / Colors Blue-Green-Yellow / Best Months: April, Sept, Dec

Feng Shui Direction: E, SE place a picture of an ox, or bamboo plant in the SE corner of your home for patience and security that comes from steady income over time. This is the direction of education, so it is a good year to increase your knowledge and develop your skills.
